Armed men have just attacked Senator Dino Melaye in Gwagwalada on his way to Lokoja this morning, Melaye who is to appear before the magistrate court sitting in Lokoja today in a case of alleged arms running was attacked by armed men who were reported to have blocked his way in a Government Hilox and a Sienna bus.
As we speak, his whereabout is yet unknown. Mr Ayodele claimed,

It could be recalled that the news of their arrival was heralded last night as the suspected armed squad entered Abuja. Melaiye media claimed the security apparatus are aware of several threat to his boss but yet failed to take some urgent steps that will end this constant harassment, ever since the sponsored recalled failed the last option on their table now is to assassinate him at all cost, Ayodele believes those sponsoring will also failed as usual, called on the various civil society group and prominent sons and daughter of kogi state across the three senatorial zone not to relent in their public condemnation of this dastardly act.
