The Stakes Are Higher; The Tempo Must Be Sustained.
The Presidential Campaign Council of the Peoples’ Democratic Party in Kogi State expresses it’s appreciation to the good people of Kogi State who graced the occasion of the flag off of its campaign activities yesterday.
The Council notes and acknowledges the enormous efforts of the various party leaders in the state.
Of specific mention is the strategic supervisory and advisory efforts of  Executive Chairman of the Council, His Excellency, Ibrahim Idris and the sagacity of the Director General, His Excellency, the Rt. Hon. Clarence Olafemi.
The Council also notes the the mobilization efforts of the party chairmen starting from the State Chairman, Engr. Sam Uhotu, the zonal chairmen of the East West and Central zones as well as the party structures in the local government and ward levels not excluding the women and youth leaders across board.
The various aspirants especially former Governor, His Excellency, Capt. Idris Wada, Alhaji Mohammed Shaibu Tettes, Dr. Idris Omede, Haruna Kebiru amongst others who graced the occasion are acknowledged for their various mobilization roles across the zones of the state.
The Council wishes to notify party stakeholders, elders, leaders, members, affiliate/support groups and the public that the stakes are now higher hence the need to sustain the tempo and even raise it higher as means of building more confidence across board in view of the elections proper.
To this end, the generality of the party structures are urged to return and remain at the respective wards and polling units where they should intensify mobilization and execute the grassroots penetration strategy of the party in their respective areas.
Signed:
Usman Austin Okai.
