Jose Mourinho wants to add two strikers to his squad this month as he continues his search for cover for Harry Kane, according to The Independent.
Spurs have held talks with AC Milan’s Krzysztof Piatek, but Mourinho wants a further addition. The Portuguese is said to believe their chances of making the Champions League next season hinge on Spurs signing more than one striker this month.
Kane’s injury has prompted a number of agents to get in touch with Spurs, with Fernando Llorente and Christian Benteke among those offered.
Edinson Cavani has also been linked but will likely demand a salary beyond Spurs.
