Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, one of the legal representative to the embattled leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu says he will no longer keep quiet following the loads of threat he has been receiving from the members of the separatist movement after the sit at home order was indefinitely suspended by the group.
Recall that the leadership of the movement under the command of the Directorate Of State (DOS) had announced somewhat last week that the sit at home which was initiated to show solidarity to their detained leader will not longer go as planned.
Chika Edoziem who is the Head of the DOS while addressing their members during a broadcast said the order will only take effect anytime Nnamdi Kanu will be brought to the court for his trial.
The announcement moreover did not go down well with their followers as some defiant members of the group have vowed to continue with the sit at home order despite the note of warning fired by the leadership of the movement
Meanwhile, the legal representatives of the group, barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor and Aloy Ejimakor have come under heavy attack over the sudden suspension of the sit at home exercise. The both lawyers have been accused of compromise.
While some said the DOS cannot be trusted anymore as there are visible signs of compromise on their part too.
However, barrister Aloy Ejimakor through his official twitter handle said he will no longer keep quiet again after he received loads of death threats from IPOB members over the indefinite suspension of the sit at home.
He said the message which conveyed the suspension of the sit at home was not delivered through him.
According to barrister Ejimakor, the message was delivered by others days before he visited Nnamdi Kanu on the 9th of August at the DSS detention facility
He said, “I can no longer keep quiet because I’m receiving death threats from people I’ve been defending for years
