Dikko Umar Radda PhD is the two time Director General,Chief Executive Officer,Small and Medium Enterprises Developement Agency of Nigeria SMEDAN,the hub of economic,social emancipation of the most populous nation in Africa.
His reappointment for a second term in the last six months was unarguably the outcome of his dedication to duty, proactiveness,hardwork,result oriented and driving the Nigeria economy through the turbulent waters of precarious global economic situations, compounded by novel health challenges of COVID.
Radda a quitessential and unassuming public officer,combined his wealth of experience as an academic,a bureacrat,a politician and public spirited entity into robust management of the nation’s quest to create wealth management, economic stability out of the current economic doldrums.
His zeal and ability to manage petty businesses that had later transformed to the mainstay and mainstream of Nigeria economy, had placed him on the high pedestal of Nigeria history.
The award winning Director General both at the ivory tower, business conglomerates,stable of parliamentary activities through Constituency projects had won accolade both within and outside the shores of Nigeria.
The patriotic efforts to move beyond the primary roles of creating small scale activities to building capacity all round the country, through trainings, workshop,talkshop,as well as empowerment and skill development had attracted accolades from both the public and private sectors as well as government.
Dr Radda has brokered a robust synergy, partnerships and building blocks of relationships to alleviate poverty, reduced redundancy,and improved self reliance and self sustenance amidst stern economic somersault,that had improved the lot of many Nigerians.
These positive approaches and position initiated during his first term in office is been consolidated to address social gap and stratification, as well as encourage economically balanced country with high GDP and ease of carrying out small scale businesses.
With these strides,no doubts,the desire of stakeholders both at the state and federal level for more responsibility due to the unimaginable successes reorded by Dr Dikko Umar Radda overtime, to the yearnings and aspirations of many Nigerians.
The current feat,without contradictions,will not only prepare him for higher offices,but spur him to do more for the developement of Nigeria at all levels.
As you mark additional one year to your years in life,it is my fervent prayers that Almighty God will continue to shield you, for more of this people oriented programs, geared towards the progress and developement of our dear country.
