Some suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have been accused of looting a bread van in Enugu and setting it on fire on Tuesday morning.
The incident reportedly happened at Emene, a suburb of the Enugu Capital city, on the day that the group asked residents to sit at home in solidarity with Nnamdi Kanu, its detained leader.
Witnesses said the van was burnt around the old Orie Emene market.
“Soldier later arrived the scene and shot into the air to disperse the hoodlums. There were no casualties; I watched what happened from a distance.”
