He said that the party will retake Kogi state and ensure better management of the economy and infrastructural development.
Chief Sola Ojo said the target of the party was not only to win the presidency in 2023 but to win at least the two-third of states in the federation, including Kogi.
He said the masses have tasted both the PDP and the APC and are now in the best position to judge for themselves which party to vote for in 2023, adding that “even nursing babies feel the pinch of the maladministration of the ruling party.”
He urged members to “get their membership cards ready with a passport, click on the website of PDP management system, type iamPDP.com, enter surname first and follow other procedures for the e-registration.”
He said that the training programme of the ward agents in all the 239 wards will commence immediately after the flag off exercise.
In his speech, the state party chairman, Engr Sam Uhuotu, said the party has been repositioned to take over power in 2023 from the ruling party which he said has woefully failed the people.
He commended party faithful who he said in spite of not being in the ruling party still endured all manners of persecution and sufferings to identify with the party and expressed hope that all that sufferings will soon be over.
