The Agenyi Ata Igala Kingdom and the Aché of Igala Kingdom , Chief Ogwu James Onoja, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and his lovely wife, Mrs. Rosemary Onoja on the 3rd of March, 2022 gathered friends and well-wishers at the Mountain of Fire and Miracle ministry Gwarinpa Abuja for a special thanksgiving to God and celebration of His blessings.
The event kicked off with a Church service, where the officiating Pastor, pastor Emmanuel Ayantuga blessed the couple. He said God that brought them together would see them through their marital life.
Pastor Emmanuel Ayantuga advised the couple to continue to love each other and renew the covenant of God to each other, adding that they should regard their marriage as if they were just starting.
According to Pastor Emmanuel Ayantuga “Value your union and see it as a precious gift from God,”
Many people at the event testified that, apart from being a couple, Chief Ogwu James Onoja SAN and his lovely wife were best friends with similar approaches to issues.
Sharing their love story, Chief Ogwu James Onoja, Senior Advocate of Nigeria ( SAN) who was externally excited said ” 25 years seems like yesterday when we stood on the altar to exchange marital vows – innocent looking hand-in-hand and gazing into the future that God will guide us on this journey and that in his time, he will make all things beautiful.
In this 25 years, I realized that God deliberately created you for me because in all the dark and desperate moments, the fact that you were beside me made the burden of the weight light. My side stopped aching the moment I met you and I instantly realized I had found my missing rib.
I thank you for your patience all these years, for the warmth in our home, for the amazing gift of God in our children. If I had to do this again, I will do it with you again and again . ”
The proud father of five also recounted how the marital journey had been very fruitful, adding that, their first born is a graduate and two of their kids are studying Law in a prestigious Universities.
“It has been a journey of excellence, a journey to give glory to God, a journey of uncommon grace from God and a journey of true love,” he enthused.
Chief Ogwu James Onoja SAN described his wife, Mrs Rosemary Onoja as a virtuous woman with a gentle spirit and one in a million.
In her speech, Mrs Rosemary Onoja said the relationship between she and her husband ( Chief Ogwu James Onoja SAN ) was not love at first sight. She described Chief Ogwu James Onoja SAN, as homely, God-fearing and a good friend.
“I fell in love with my husband because I discovered that he is homely, God-fearing. He is a father, a good friend, a family man and a good counsellor. Ours wasn’t love at first sight.”
At the early stage of their marital lives, the couple said there were stumbling blocks, but, with patience and tolerance, they were able to overcome the challenges.
