Earlier hours of yesterday, the township of Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro became hyper busy with people across the federal constituency trooping in to grace the formal decl
aration of interest and intentions of Hon. Abel Egbita to run for house of Representatives Ankpa federal constituency on the platform of APC.
Abel Egbita made the declaration on Saturday across the three (3) local government that made up Ankpa federal constituency after meeting with APC Local Goverment & Ward Executives, Stakeholders, Leaders and chieftains of the party.
Abel Egbita was overwhelmed with the kind gesture exhibited by youth, women and people across the federal constituency, the crowd had Abel name on their tongues just like the Nation’s Anthem, with the slogan (Ogwu Yoo) which signify the level of dedication and love splashing on their faces.
He expressed the love and support he has enjoyed from people across the federal constituency starting with the leadership of the party, stakeholders, women and youth who have truly demonstrated their readiness for the course.
The affairs of Ankpa Federal Constituency in the past few years is an open invitation for every citizen alarmed by the direction we are headed to take part in the quest for solutions. Having watched from a distance, and closely interacted with key political actors and policymakers, I feel privileged to answer this call to be a part of the solution.
For so long, we have been a witness to the political happenings in our beloved federal constituency, assessing its strengths and weaknesses, and my attachment to its development dilemma is driven by the need to offer our people the highest dividends of compassionate governance. For we can no longer afford to overlook. That it is why I’m stepping out to offer my service.
