Nigeria cannot blame Cameroon for the recent floods in the Northern parts of their country. When the Lagdo Dam was built, the deal was for the two countries to work together to control the water released from the dam but Nigeria never invested in their project.
RIP for lost ones.

The tweet also admits the fact that climate change is also contributing to the problem,
“climate change has a lot to do with it but with proper water management like constructing another dam in lowlands in the Nigerian side.
We now experience too much rain in shorter periods and this is as a result of climate change.”

The tweet said “Do you really think that any Nigerian government will allow a situation were a dam in Cameroon is opened to flood a section of the country? In Cameroon, we know that the two countries were suppose to invest in their respective projects.”
