The administrative acumen and wealth of experience of the new leadership had resolved many thorny issues that was yearning for solutions overtime.

FCCPC Releases It’s Memorandum of Understanding With Egyptian Competition Authority ECA.

This ranges from major administrative decisions, appointments, promotions and payments of backlog of salaries and arears, that had boosted the morale of staffers of the NASC and by extension the National Assembly.

Less than one year at the mantle of leadership, Amshi and his team appointed a new Clerk to the National Assembly, of which it had an extension of responsibility that fell under his purview, along many appointments, subsequent ones and major re-organisation in the management of the National Assembly.

The change of baton from Sani Omolori that brought the out gone CNA , Arc Amos Olatunde Ojo to the mantle of leadership came after the expiration of his tenure in 2021.

Ojo acted for some months and was subsequently confirmed as substantive CNA before he proceeded on terminal leave, that also led to the appointment of Sani Magaji Tambuwal as Ag CNA recently.

Under two years, he deployed his age long wealth of experiences along with his Commissioners that ensured seamless transition of leadership and management of the National Assembly.

The commission had resolved all grievances that was backlogged before the inception of Amshi led leadership at the commission, particularly salaries and allowances of the members of staff under the two unions PASAN and NASSLAF, as it is working assiduously to addressing other the pending ones.

The new leadership absorbed staffers employed under the previous management of the commission and paid up the first 28 days to NASSLAF members who are legislative aides.

Amshi had embarked on stagnated staff promotions at all levels, created additional units that gave a sense of responsibility to other staffs of the commission.

To ensure transparency and accountability, the commission under the current leadership created the anti corruption unit to promote the anti graft culture of the present administration, under President Muhammadu Buhari.

it embarked on the construction of gigantic office complex that did not go beyond design before his ascension, and now over 80% completion, as it will be ready for commissioning before the end of the 9th Assembly.

The multi billion naira project will ameliorate both logistics and administrative problems, as well as paucity of accomodation bedeviling the commission for over two decades.

The change of baton at the National Assembly through the appointment of Ag CNA Sani Magaji Tambuwal, and other principal officers of the National Assembly management was a major breakthrough that averted seemingly somersaults, which had calmed down nerves of any unforseen circumstances.

The new appointment has again demonstrated some level of leadership experiences and seamless resolution of any impending issues by the commission.

Before then, the amicable resolution of strike notice in October by PASAN to the commission through a civil approach was the best thing that had happened to the country, in view of the timing.

The sane decision of the National Assembly Service Commission NASC management had averted a major national crises that would have eroded the successes achieved by the 9th Assembly of January to December budget circle achievements during the 2023 budget defence, that may also trigger a major national and international crises.

With renewed zeal and determination to achieve results, the National Assembly Service Commission NASC will make more in road towards human capital and infrastructural development, under Engr Ahmed Kadi Amshi FNSE.
