The Enugu Integrity Group has expressed its utmost displeasure on what it describes as sponsored attacks and cheap blackmail on the peace loving Governor and Government of Enugu State by some charlatans been recruited by a self parades Labour Party Gubernatorial candidate, Chijioke Edeoga.
In as much as we are not the mouth piece or spokesperson for the government, we won’t fold our hands and watch our Governor’s name to be use or mention negatively henceforth by Chijioke Edeoga and his co-travelers.
“We want to make it known to them that no man has monopoly of anything”, if Chijioke Edeoga think that the only way he can succeed in his aimless mission is to blackmail our peace loving Governor using his recruited charlatans, then he should be ready to receive such back, enough is enough”. Group says.
Chijioke Edeoga and his co-travelers has made it a tradition to always hanged on any ugly development to blackmail Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, such won’t be tolerated.
“Banking on President Buhari statements regards to LG funds to tarnish the image of our Governor is nothing but cheap blackmail”.
“From a reliable information within our reach, there is nothing like Paris Club Refunds money as we speak, either received by LG Council Chairmen as they fabricated. Urge the good people of Enugu State to disregard such coming from enemies of the state.
The distraction should end.
