In an apparent answer to these posers, a
Student’s body, the National Association of Northern Nigerian Students yesterday praised the Executive Chairman of the National Assembly Service Commission, Engr Ahmed Kadi Amshi over his dogged efforts towards national development and selfless service to humanity.
A delegation of the students organization led by its national president, Ibrahim Isa Adamu of the Bayero University, Kano came to express it’s joy over the developmental strides of Engr Amshi not only in the National Assembly Service but also in the field of Engineering and other spheres of life.
The group presented the Executive Chairman with an award, ACHIEVER PAR EXCELLENCE ” in recognition of your outstanding performance, immense contribution towards societal development and selfless service to humanity ‘.
Mr Ibrahim Isa Adamu emphasized that his organization was honouring Amshi because he was an exemplary leader who is a source of inspiration to the Nigerian youth.
Responding, Engr Amshi noted that he had rejected offers for award 15 times since assumption of office as NASC Chairman but decided to accept this one as a way of encouraging the Nigerian youth towards developing themselves as potential leaders of the country.
He advised Nigerian youth to imbibe the spirit of hard work, service and selflessness as a way of building a virile and prosperous nation.
