About to commenced its statewide campaign for its Governorship election of November 11, Kogi state Social Democratic Party SDP candidates,Alhaji Muritala Ajaka today visited the historic town of Idah to an uproarious reception by supporters of the party in the area.
Delivering his remarks, the Governorship Hopeful, appreciated the large turnout of party faithful, particularly women and youths in his own home town of Idah.
The area being part of insecurity ravaged Local government in the State, the candidate pledged that a vote for him will be a recipe for an end to insecurity in the area and the entire State in general, by God’s grace.
Muri though coming home for the first time since he decamped from the ruling All Progressives Congress APC to Social Democratic Party SDP.
OBSERVERSTIMES reporters on ground confirm that the SDP Gubernatorial candidate also harped on youth employment, as well as women empowerment, He described as heartwarming the large crowd of party supporters which he said signpost Kogi East as a SDP safe territory.
