JUST IN: Pastor resigns over Kumuyi’s support of Tinubu administration.

Shuaibu coming from a prominent background as son of the former two time Kogi Governor, Late Prince Abubakar Audu who during his life time was engaged in the services of the private sector as a Banker before joining the public service as Commissioner for finance in Benue state, during the Military administration of Jonah Jang and later two time Kogi Governor after the creation of Kogi state.

Conversely, the new ministerial nominee and foreign trained accountant and Banker of high repute toed the same line of his late father, as he started his life in the private sector as a Banker for consecutive two decades and digressed into philanthropy, charity and care giver by establishing a foundation meant to touch the lives of indigent Nigerians, and later joined politics to contest for the governorship primaries held early this year under the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC.

For providence, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu joined the race on the platform of APC where his late father, political juggernaut and icon , Prince Abubakar Audu had won election to become the third time governor, but died before the final announcement of results about seven years ago.

The new Minister who had built a lasting career and legacy in the Banking sector for over two decades, both within and outside the shores of the country similar to his late father, no doubt had begun the process of fulfilling his destiny with announcement by the Senate of his name as ministerial nominee from Kogi state.

Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu foundation went beyond mere nomenclature and had touched lives both in the Health, Education, Water and Sanitation, as well as social services across Kogi state and Nigeria at large.

The new Minster’s foundation engaged on the construction of Hospitals, donations, building of schools and provision of pipe water across Kogi east and Kogi state in general and Nigeria at large.

His desire to consolidate his rich resume and programs of his foundation into the public service encouraged him to make a foray into the political landscape of Kogi and Nigeria at large, were he courageously contest to rule the state in the last governorship election in the state.

The Prince of Ogbonicha kingdom determined to achieve greatness retracted after the primary election in preparation for the next dispensation, and rejigged his foundation geared towards achieving the yearnings and aspirations of ordinary Nigerians.

The appointment as one of the Ministerial nominee and announcement by the Senate President was not out of place , as the new Nigeria leadership searched and got the right and ripe people both in age and achievements as well as wealth of experience garnered by Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu to attain the new feat geared towards service delivery to his fatherland.

Shuaibu, no doubt will perform outstandingly given his wealth of experience over the years both in the public and private organisations.
