In a bid to cushion the effect of the Economic hardship on Nigerians occasioned by the fuel Subsidy Removal, which led to an alarming surge in petrol prices ranging from N578 to N617 depending on the state, a humanitarian Organization called Century 21 La Buena Vida group interpreted as ‘the Good Life’ has distributed five litres of petrol products each to thousands of okada and Keke riders in Abuja and her suberb.

On the scene survey the okada riders were seen in wild jubilations at NNP Retail filling station in karu area over the magnanimous distribution of the free fuel package to them by the organisation.

The motorcyclists who queued at various five filling stations were given a pass ticket tagged ‘Free Fuel 5 Litres’ .

Speaking to NewsDirect Business at the scene, Ambassador Dr. Nefo Esimai said ” we’re running a project called la Buena Vida we teach people how to run a profit business without losing and then our partners we come together to help our community through humanitarian services and support.

“What motivated us to start disturbing free fuel is the hard times Nigerians are passing through at this critical period.

” We have been doing for sometimes in fact we have what we called the ‘ Feed Family project’ where we feed over 50,000 families across Nigeria.

According to him they also have the healthcare package where they go to pay for the hospital bills of patients who cannot afford to pay.

He said ” we have discovered that there’s a renewed Challenge that is hike in the fuel pump prices and we looked at the fact that people are suffering especially those at the lower income earners like the okada riders and the Keke napep.

” So we decided to come together as a team unit to see how we can contribute our quota by impacting life to these set of people by going to the filling stations to give out free fuel for specifically okada riders and Keke napep.

Dr. Esimai revealed that they’re carrying out the philanthropist gesture across the country but in Abuja they’re targeting five filling stations with 500 okada and Keke riders befitting.

Also Speaking, Ambassador Peter Femi Modupe stressed due the suffering of citizens the La Buena Vida members decided to do fuel palliatives for the masses.

He said ” we contributed money from our members across the four walls of this country and decided to go to the filling stations to put smile on the faces of Nigerians.

” It is part of our vision to create financially free people and use our money to empower our environment.

Ambassador Modupe noted that the free fuel programme will last for two days across various stations in the country.
