Hon . Daniel Acheneje Ogbadu is of the Akogu Royal House of the ancient Igala kingdom .
In 1940 Mr Ogbadu became an evangelist of the Christ Missionaries in many lands and was stationed at Ayingba. He continued his studies until 1944 and did a stinct in teaching . He is an Alumnus of the Dikena middle school. Among his school mates were the very first batch of Igala elites.
Appointed a court scribe in 1946,he was posted to Enjema district now in Ankpa LGA. This was to be the most significant aspect in his life as a young Ogbadu was to meet and marry his first wife during this period .
In June 1949 he was transferred to Dekina district court only to be promoted three month later to Atta’s ‘B’ court ,the highest court in the then Igala Division which handled appeal cases from the 19 district courts .

South West Congress: You Are Only Afraid of Free And Fair Congress, PDP National Organising Secretary Blasts Ogun State PDP Chairman Mr Mr. Sikirulai Ogundele
The Unedited Press Statement.
RE: COMPLAINT OF ILLEGAL RELEASE OF OVER 150 BALLOT PAPER TO GOVERNOR MAKINDE FOR BALLOT STUFFING AT SOUTH-WEST CONGRESS
Our attention has been drawn to a spurious and baseless Petition circulating in the Social media purportedly signed by Mr.Sikirulai Ogundele, the Ogun State Chairman on behalf of Chairmen of Ogun, Lagos, Osun and Ekiti States.
The petition alleged that “over 150 (One hundred and fifty) ballot papers for the election of National Vice Chairman and Zonal Secretary have been released to a group illegally by a Staff of the Directorate of Organization and Mobilization intended for ballot stuffing”. The petition also claimed that “the hatched job of stuffing the ballot boxes with these illegally released ballot papers is to be supervised and achieved by a ‘certain Senator Anyanwu’”.
Ordinarily, there would have been no need to comment on the misleading letter since the allegations are false and malicious, but, in this age of Social media, it is important to save the unsuspecting public from falling prey to the antics of the author, in the name of politics.
It is on record that under our watch, our Party has consistently conducted some of the best primary elections. The last Presidential Primary election of October 2018 was accorded the status of the most transparent and best primary election of any Political Party in the history of our Country. Ekiti (2018), Osun (2018), Kogi (2019), Bayelsa (2019), Ondo (2020) Governorship Primary Elections were unquestionably free, fair, transparent and credible.
I wish to implore every member of our Party, the Delegates and Stakeholders across the Country to discountenance this unnecessary, irresponsible, reckless and false publication. The NWC will continue to ensure free, fair, credible and transparent primaries in line with its oath of office.

PDP remains Anambra’s hope for good governance- Ologbondiyan
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed confidence that it will win the November 6, Anambra governorship poll, as it remains the hope of the state for good governance.
According to the PDP, it ” presents the hope for the state to rebuild and and realize its full potentials”.
The opposition party’s National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, stated this, on Sunday, in Abuja, while playing host to a coalition of Anambra youths under the aegis of Anambra Youth Initiative For Good Governance.
Ologbondiyan pointed out that the alleged dearth of electoral activities in other parties in the state is an indication, ” that they have already given up ahead of the November election”.
He noted that the assemblage of leading aspirants as well as the surge of the people to the PDP, clearly indicate their resolve to elect the next governor of the state on the platform of the opposition party.
The reality of the direction the November 6 governorship election in Anambra state will take is already manifest.
“Ndi Anambra are very industrious, resourceful and inventive people and they have collectively realized that they can only achieve their full potentials on the platform of the PDP.
“This is particularly given our robust manifesto and wealth creation principles of inclusiveness, transparency, accountability, massive infrastructural development and empowerment of the people.
“Across our nation today, it is only PDP governors that are commissioning legacy projects. From Rivers to Bauchi, Sokoto to Bayelsa, Akwa-Ibom to Benue, Abia, Adamawa, Edo, Oyo, Cross River, Zamfara, Enugu, Taraba to Delta state, projects upon projects are being commissioned on daily basis in line with the manifesto of our great party.
“While other parties are struggling under the weight of unfulfilled promises and misrule, our states are opening new development and investment frontiers in critical sectors including agriculture, aviation, energy, power, healthcare, education, real estate manufacturing and massive industrialization.
“This is why Ndi Anambra have firmly resolved to rally on our platform to revamp and move their state towards realizing its full potentials in all spheres of life”, Ologbondiyan stated.
The National Convener of the Coalition, Okechukwu Umeh, in his remaks, restated the confidence of Ndi Anambra in the PDP.
Umeh noted that all hands are already on the deck to ensure the victory of the PDP in the November election.
